Anna Aktins was a photographer and a english bontatsit, she is most likely considered the first person to publish a book with illustrated pictures. Most people say that she was the first person to create a photograph. She was born in Tonbridge, Kent, England 1799, died in 1871. Other people claim she was the first female photographer, but others say a women named Constance Tolbat the wife of William Fox as the first photographer.
An advantage of cyanotypes is that they are cheap and easy to use. However a disadvantage is that they can easily be destroyed if left in the light to long.

This cyanotype is one that I made in my Photography Class. We chose some items and lace them down on the paper, when doing this you have to make sure that it's not left in the light too long.
